“Massage therapy does not itself create healing or wholeness. It serves as a form of input that may assist persons in recovering their own innate capacities for health.”    Donald W. Scheumann

If you live the Austin area, or can stay here for an extended period, you're invited to come and work with us personally. Instead of sporadic attempts to alleviate your symptoms that give only temporary relief, you need a thorough evaluation and a clear plan of action to address the source of your condition.

If you live elsewhere (around the U.S. or abroad), the great news is that you can now access ACFMT knowledge and benefit from our over fifteen years of clinical experience through a variety of other means.

We welcome you to explore the Learning Resources page where you will find our Free Special Reports, and signup for your Free Get In Touch e-zine and other offerings that you can use to improve the quality of your life.

Visit this page regularly to see what’s new. We are always researching white papers, peer reviews, and periodicals. You can find this information on our Learning Resources page.

At the Austin Center for Massage Therapy, we take a unique approach to addressing pain. Unlike many treatments that focus only on managing symptoms, we focus our attention on true healing by releasing the body’s innate capacities for health through neuromuscular re-education.

Our Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT) specialize in Precision Massage which effectively uses a combination of Neuromuscular Therapy, Myoskeletal Alignment Technique®, Deep Tissue, Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Massage for Orthopedic Conditions, as well as Movement and Assisted Stretches to free you from your pain and stress.

When you visit the Austin Center for Massage Therapy, your medical history will be taken and you will be given a general postural evaluation at no cost to you. We take the time to listen to you and design a session specifically for your needs.

Although it is impossible to guarantee the outcome of any individual session, we do guarantee satisfaction and that all that can be done within our scope of work will be done. You can rest assured that you will be treated with the utmost respect and care, in a friendly, safe, and healing environment.

“Every day you do one of two things: build health or produce disease in yourself.” Adelle Davis

“I Just wanted to let you know that my back is still better. It was the most painful episode I've ever had with my back.  It was no fun.

My neck and shoulders are looser too.  Everything is looser and not so knotted up and tight.

You are a godsend. Thank you so much”
